David was born
1992 – 2011
David began his education in Montevarchi, where he graduated from the local high school with a specialization in scientific subjects.
In his hometown, he also entered into contact with Dance and Music.
He started his dance training at Maria Tothova’s dance school “Danzaria” and learned music by studying classical piano with Primo Oliva.
2011 – 2013
He was admitted to Codarts University for the Arts in September 2011 and completed his bachelor’s degree in 2015. During his time at the university, he made his first steps as a choreographer with the creation “SHOT“, which was selected to tour in Dutch theaters.
In the meantime, he participated as a piano session player for various performances and side projects.
2014 – 2016
In 2014 he started his professional dance experience in Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, followed by a freelancing project with Teatr Tańca Caro the following year.
From 2016 onward, he has been actively involved in German theaters.
2016 – NOW
He joined Theater Nordhausen under the artistic direction of Ivan Alboresi . Following that, he moved to Theater Regensburg where he worked with Georg Reischl from 2019 to 2022.
Currently, he is employed at Staatstheater Augsburg under the artistic direction of Ricardo Fernando.
CHOREOGRAPHY
Working in theaters provided him with the platform to pursue his passion. As a choreographer, he consistently seized opportunities for emerging choreographers offered by the theaters where he was employed, allowing him to continuously create new works. Additionally, he choreographed for his own side projects, finding inspiration in the valuable input that other artists can provide. He particularly enjoys collaborating with live music and working on location.
MUSIC
In 2016, he delves into music once again, this time focusing on learning the fundamentals of music production, sound design, and mixing. In 2019 he has conceived his solo project, Pluto Tideswell, as a platform to freely express his personal thoughts and emotions without the constraints of adhering to any specific rules. The project has since expanded and evolved.
He has always composed music for his own choreographies, but since 2019, he has begun and continues collaborating with other choreographers, crafting original music for their new choreographic works.
